Peer Review Process

Plural Family Law Review (PFL) employs a double-blind peer review policy. Under this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process. The initial submission does not display the author's name or affiliation until the article has been accepted for further review and publication.

Each submitted article will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. The scientific work is original and has not been published elsewhere.

  2. The alignment between the research methodology and the chosen topic.

  3. The quality and depth of analysis presented in the article.

  4. The clarity and effectiveness of the article in communicating with its intended readership.

  5. The final recommendation provided by the reviewer(s).

  6. The standard timeframe for the initial screening and peer review process is approximately four to six months from the date of manuscript receipt.

  7. Articles submitted to Plural Family Law Review (PFL) may be written in English.

The Editor of Plural Family Law Review (PFL) holds full authority to decide whether a submitted article is accepted or rejected.
